Slacker...

Yes, I know...I have been such a blog slacker. It's not like I am not in front of a computer 5 days a week...I just have been slacking. So sorry!

Tanner went to Vegas this weekend with a friend. Yes, I was jealous. He called me on Friday night and just had to tell me about the VIP treatment they were getting at the Bellagio. They were picked up by the Hotel limo, given VIP check in, and the Hotel gave them GREAT seats at the rodeo! Why does this always happen to him when I am not there?? The people he met there had done some MAJOR winning (& spending), hence the VIP treatment. I am talking as a whole they won 3 times what I make a year. (Not Tanner...he came home even.)

So why Tanner was away being PAMPERED in Vegas, He-man & I hung out in good ol'Plains. Friday we went to LBK with Tanner's parents. Just a Wal-mart & Hobby Lobby run. I had a shower on Sunday, and had to finish up the gift (more about that later). We ALMOST had a major crisis though. When we came out of Hobby Lobby, Helee's "KiKi" was in the parking lot. It would have been a horrible night & weekend (let alone week) at the Blount house without this Blanket. Thank you Lord it was right were POP (not me or Mmmm) dropped it. (Had to give pop alittle grief over that one)

Anyway. The shower gift. Well....I started out just making a "Labor Day Basics" bucket. (Another great blog idea I had come across recently) Here's the bucket:

I filled it with headbands, deck of cards (so dad won't get bored), notebook, pen, roll of quarters (for the vending machines), battery operated fan, and a massage thinging. Isn't that clever! Well, I guess I was getting alittle crafty juice running thru my veins once again, cause I didn't stop there. Here are the two onesies I did. I took these pics before I stitched the letters, but You get the idea....

I was so excited when I finished! Another crafty weekend for me!
