The stockshow post I should have posted 2 weeks ago!! I had so many pictures of pigs on my camera. I tried to take a picture of everyone of "our" pigs we raised. I am working on our website & wanted to make sure I had plenty of options to work with...I think I accomplished that!
Helee spent most of the day in the dirt. Shocking...I know! He doesn't get to be around boys too often. Most of our friends all have girls, so I've never really gotten to see him rough house with the boys...
& I have to say that I was a nervous Momma watching him wrestle & getting thrown around. I knew they weren't going to get too hurt, but I kept thinking that the other boys were being mean to my baby & then Helee would get up & plummet one of them....That's when I realized it was a mutual fight!
He was FILTHY by the time the day was over...but he had a blast!
(This face makes me laugh out loud...everytime he makes it!)
Cross stayed with his babysitter, Nana, for most of the day. I was thankful to be able to actually watch the show & not have to mess with holding him. He loves standing at the fence & watching the pigs. He spends alot of the times at the barns like this.
Cross (& me) were really happy to see his girlfriend, Breann. When she was done WINNING (she & her sister had an AWESOME show) she came over & played with Cross.
Before she won The Grand Champion of the show!
Bred by our boar, 7 Second Ride! 7 Seconds has had a GREAT crop of first litter pigs this year! He sired
the Grand Champion at the Battle on the Border & Piggin in the Permian Jackpots last fall. Sired the Grand Champion at the Meadow Stockshow & our Grand Champion here.
I could not be more proud of the quality of pigs he's producing! Its exciting!! I get so excited when our pigs we raised do well...I can not even imagine how nervous/excited I will be when Helee & Cross are actually showing!!
(Another 7 Second baby...not a good picture of anything but the pig, Enemy....)
And sense I can not post with out showing off Cross' Camera Grin...Here is a pic of it!
Finally...My Stockshow post!!

Yeah, the pigs look good but I sure do enjoy the boys! I am so glad that they both have the individual handsome good looks! When the boys are showing, you might want to inlist a vidiographer!
