Well, we survived day one!!

We had one tired little kindergartner, but he said he had fun!!
He meets his class in the cafeteria & then has breakfast. This morning (day 2) he still didnt cry, but he stayed right by my leg until it was time to go get his food!
Maybe it is different now, but I never went to a school were the food was free! & everyone is encouraged to eat breakfast! His entire class lines up & goes thru the line.
I left today as soon as they lined up...hopefully he had the same cheesy smile on his face when he ate this morning!
Helee goes thru a new pair of boots once every 3-4 months! So when we bought his new school boots, we had to put them up so he wouldn't wear them out before school started!
The last thing he said to me before getting out of the car yesterday morning was,
"I get to wear my new boots all day!"
I was just happy he was excited about something! Uncle Corey...sorry they are Tech, we live in Tech country. He will gladly accept A&M boots for Christmas!

Grant's school gives out free breakfast to all the kids as well. Its new this year in Ennis. Its a federal gov. program. He looks so handsome on his first day!
