The Sun did Shine!

Well, we had our roping this weekend without a hitch...we did have a low turnout, but made enough to pay the bills. Helee did good with Brent & Kasey! When they picked him up on Saturday, he cried...then I cried....but he did good. He did get his first black eye! (really Kasey....I don't care) Brent & Kasey felt so bad, but this kid falls ALL the TIME!!! I can't believe we didn't have a black-eye already! Of course he wouldn't stand still long enough for me to take a picture of it, but you can kind of tell in this picture....

This is Andi...Helee's new friend. Since the numbers were kind of low at the roping, we were done by 7:30 or so. We went over to Brent & Kasey's and had dinner...(it was super yummy..thanks guys!!) Helee had a good time playing with Andi...He even managed to sneak in a kiss!

Her daddy wasn't too proud, but we got such a kick out of this picture! I think that Andi will be a grade above the He-man, but this pic will definitely have to make the senior slide show! And can you believe it at 16 months...this isn't his first kiss. He has another girlfriend Lily. She has been kissin' on Helee for awhile, I just haven't ever gotten a picture them! Anyway...we had a good time over there, but were so tired from the weekend, we went home pretty early.

On Sunday, Tanner had a golf game...of course. So Helee & I ran to Hobbs to Walmart...yes we live so far out in the middle of no where, that we have to go to New Mexico to get to the closest wal-mart! Didn't do much fun...just groceries...then we went home and played with side-walk chalk!

It was a long day for the He-man...he only slept for 30 minutes on the drive over to Hobbs, so he was pretty moody during the evening. He just wanted his daddy!
