Isn't that fun! Do ya'll have any fun ideas?? I am usually not a Halloween person, But I thought that these would be too fun to give out as gifts...& SO affordable!! Let me know what you think. Comments are always fun to read (& no one ever leaves them!!)
So the other thing I got from Tip Junkie is Glass Etching. We live in a small town, and showers are a huge deal. It doesn't matter if it's a wedding or baby shower...They are usually huge. Most of them have 20 to 25 hostesses. So anyway. Since I am going to be here the rest of my life, I thought it would be fun to figure out something that could be "my present" at showers. I saw this on Tip Junkie...and just HAD to try it. So...this was my first attempt!
OK...so my last thing is Helee's Halloween costume. So here is the story. Those of you that know my Tanner, well now that he is the coolest person he knows {giggle} I called him Sunday (we didn't go to the Rodeo, cause of the weather...I posted about that earlier in the week) and told him that we were on our way to get the costume. Tanner's exact words were..."He doesn't need to dress up. He doesn't need a costume....He can just go as the Helee Monster" (We call him the Helee Monster all the time) SO...being the ever so devoted wife. I did what my husband said....sort of. I went to Old Navy and bought a monster costume (ok so it's a dragon...but it's the same idea) and then bought some red felt and cut out letters....Here's what we got!
Isn't that fun! and I keep telling Tanner it was his idea! I did exactly what he told me. Aren't I a great wife! I still am going to "whip stitch" the letters on. I just super glued them for now. I bought some yellow yarn...we will see what happens. We (Tanner's cousin & I) originally could only find white felt. So we were going to glue red glitter on and make them shiny...well we could not get the glitter to dry with the spray glue we were using. I finally told her that I would just work on it at home (we were at Nana's) So I once I found the red felt, and was going to glue the letters on with the "spray glue" that we had.....Oh...but it was spray glitter...No wonder it wouldn't stick!! I blame that on the blond hair!
