Loved Me some Holiday Happenings!

Well, it was a decent weekend with the Blounts. I went with my friend, Chelsi, to Holiday Happenings in Lubbock on Saturday. Tanner was such a good dad & husband...He kept the He-Man so I could go have fun. I am so glad that he did. It was so crowded, a stroller would have really frustrated me. Chelsi's mom had bought a bed that we had to pick up for her, and at the booth she bought it from, I fell in Love! I saw this framed cross, and had...HAD to have it. I struggled with the idea for all of 10 minutes.....No it doesn't match my house, but YES I want it to! So I bought it, brought it home...Put it above the fireplace, and LOVE IT!! It does go with my house!!! Chelsi helped my realize that it doesn't have to all match...just have the same colors. Thank you!! Chels!! So here it is over the mantel....
It got me in the holiday spirt...{GASP!} before Thanksgiving! So i put up a few more things.

Now all we need is Santa!!

Helee was good for Tanner all day on Saturday. I had him all decked out his Tech gear before I left to go to Lubbock. So by the time the game came Saturday night...he was filthy. That's what all day with daddy does to ya! Too bad that shirt didn't bring our Red Raiders any luck...

Deer season opened on Saturday here. It is only for 9 days, so ya have to get your hunting in pretty quick. Tanner & some friends went on Saturday morning...they got a few. Just waiting on Corey & mom to get here so Co can get a "big one!" (Tanner has one "scouted" out for him) BUT with all this hunting...We are afraid T came home with a broke wrist. Who knew broken bones could happen hunting! We just came back from the hospital for x-rays...just waiting on the call. The tech told Tanner she couldn't tell him anything...we would have to wait for the doctor. She told him that it looked "funny"....Whatever that means.

Last thing....Yesterday morning, Helee & I were at the house & I look at the back door and this is what we saw....

Only at our house would you see a pig out the door. You can see he'd been snooting at the door for a while. This is "Super-bowl" (don't ask about his name...it's for reason's that make me really sad) She is our barn pig. She was the runt of one of our litters and could climb thru the panels in & out. So she has become like our dog. In fact, she and Dally (our real dog) wrestle and chase each other all the time. When you are in the barn, she comes and sits right be side you and wants to be petted. Now....How many of you can have a story like that?? I know your jealous of my pig!{hehehe}
