So...I have been a horrible "Blogger..."

What is my deal?? I have been horrible about posting stuff. I don't think that I have even taken any pics in a couple of weeks to post. I will have to blind my kid with my flash this weekend to make up for my slacking!
Real Quick...here is my crafty moment of the week. I saw the idea on a blog...but it came from Country Living...
These are on top of my credenza thing in my office. Aren't they cute. We didn't realize till the next day that we could switch the words around and it would say "Thanksgiving" {{hehehe}}...it's the blond hair, I think. I did some for my co-workers too. For one of them we did the same letters, but added a fall leave on each letter, and for the other, I did her last name (so she can put them on her mantle or something) For mine for the house, I put them on red paper and some more christmas-y elements and they say "Peace, Love, & Joy" The candles came from the dollar tree and I used my scrapbooking stuff I already had...so the total cost of the whole thing was $12 dollars. Isn't that fun!
The most "monumental" thing that has happened with the He-man this week is......A busted lip. AND the busted lip came from....Him climbing out of his crib at the sitters. Yes...he's become a climber. The sitter has surrounded his crib with pillows in case he decided to try it again. My whole issue with this is that our house is COMPLETELY full of tile. Not a stitch of carpet in the whole thing. Soooo....if our little Helee Monster decides to try climbing at home, we are in for much more than a busted lip. I guess the thing that makes me the saddest is that he is growing up. Is it really time to start thinking about a real bed?? That means he is a toddler!!! Not my little baby. {{tear}}

So....do we convert him to a big bed, which means I am going to have to find new bedding (or Mom we are going to have to bust the sewing machines out at Thanksgiving) or do we go with a toddler bed that his crib stuff will fit in. I have already been offered a toddler sleigh bed from a friend. I hope that it will work. His crib bedding came with a really cute quilt, that we haven't ever used.....I don't know what to do. The second issue is that he has always been so easy to put down for a nap or to go to sleep. No rocking or anything. Mostly cause he was trapped! I just don't know that he will stay in the bed.

So....A big bed, toddler bed, or do I build a lid for his crib {{wink}}??? What do you think? (Really it's ok to leave a comment....)

I think that you should build a lid for his bed! I think that trapping him in his bed would make him really content! I am sure that he wouldn't scream at all!
I will bring my sewing machine!
love ya,
Momma

I think that as long as there are holes in the crib lid, you should be fine.

That candle idea is sooooo cute! I may have to give that a try! :)

As for Helee - I was really worried about both Joey and Connor when we switched them to toddler beds, but they both did really well. :) Good luck!!
