Well, Blount-ly...it's been a hard week.

For anyone that doesn't know, my dad suffered a stroke on Saturday night right around 11:45. It was the first time in 4 years that I could literally feel the distance between my family & I in West Texas. The first prognosis was good. They told mom that they caught it fast and everything would work out. They did surgery around 3 or 4 Sunday morning. Mom, Tiff, & Corey were able to run home while he rested. Once they returned to the hospital & met with the Neurologist things turned bad. They told us that we needed to get to the hospital ASAP. Tanner, Helee, & I got on a plane and were here with in 3 hours. We have a wonderful friend who flew us in his plane and got me to my daddy. Helee loved the headphones...

As of today, we just moved my dad out of ICU to a private room. THANK YOU LORD! I can not explain how things have turned around in the past 3 days. His speech is so much better than I thought it would be. He still has paralysis on his left side, but he felt mom rubbing his neck today. Dad has not lost any memories, his sense of humor or anything. Every time I have gone to his room he has made me laugh. I will never look at Sprite or 7up the same. He is CRAVING it. (He can't have any fluids) He keeps saying that he is having dreams about them. We are now able to thicken his fluids...so any water, tea..SPRITE!...has to be thickened to the consistency to honey.

So, I will have so many things to post about later. Our pigs did SO WELL this past weekend, I have MANY pics to post. I will get to that soon. I will try to be better about updating about dad. I just haven't wanted to sit down and write about this whole thing. I will leave ya with some pics of the He-man. He did SO SO GOOD on the plane. I was worried about it but he just sat there.
These are a few from the stock show. Shank & Chelsi got Helee the CUTEST beanie hat thing and belt. THANK YOU GUYS! He looked so cute!

Thank you all who have been praying for us. This has been the most difficult 3 days of my life and I can not thank yall enough for the phone calls, thoughts and prayers.
