I have a roll of zebra wrapping paper that I hardley ever use...so I cut a piece to cover the clock. Then used my exacto knife to trim around the edges.

But...none of my zebra accents in the house are truely black & WHITE...SO. I boiled a few tea bags & tried to stain it. I just soaked the paper & wiped the excess off.

& this is what we got. Its still wet in this picture...& there is a bad shadow on it, but I think the tea worked well! Now that it's dried, I need to go back & re-stain some places on it.
My intention was to mod podge a "B" to monogram it, but the black "b" got lost in the zebra stripes, so I am trying to think of someting else to do. Any suggestions?? I am headed to Lubbock this weekend for a day with the girls at Holiday Happenings! I'm SOOO excited. Last year I bought this & that began my re-vamp of our house. Who knows what we'll find this year!

How cute is that! I have a little suggestion but I'm not sure if you can find them. For Camdyn's bench, I bought stick-on letters for hers and when you put the glue over they stuck perfectly. I just got them at Hobby Lobby. Maybe you could find a big thick B sticker there. I actually think that I have seen big letters there. You could also use another color to make it show up better (torquoise would be super cute or red??)
u little crafty momma! very cute!
