Don't Judge me by my dated House....

Soo..Like I said before, I don't know if I'm nesting or what, but I have been on a roll at the house changing decor, spray painting anything that sits still, etc! (all while trying to spend zero to no dollars!) One major sore spot for me is our Kitchen...its severely dated & needs to be updated! I have a brainstorm for the cabinets & counter tops, but they require paint (FUMES) & stuff I shouldn't be smelling while prego! Also in the Kitchen, is a huge hole in the wall...literally! Our fridge wouldn't fit in the "fridge spot" in the kitchen. I also have a thing about refrigerators in the kitchen...I don't know what it is, but it really bothers me. Not so much in other peoples houses but mine...weird I know! So, you can see in this picture (sort of) the unfinished space for the fridge. I had a piece of furniture stuck in there so that it would somewhat take away the eyesore, but just had not thought of anything to "fix" it. The ladies I work with & i were talking about it & Gale thought I should find something to lay over it, like a butcher block. Great Idea...but I didn't have any butcher blocks laying around & figured they would be expensive. I was laying in bed & it hit me....I have an old table in the barn! So, I had tanner take the legs off of it & it could not have fit more PERFECTLY over the space.

(Tiffany...I'm sorry if you were partial to the table & wanted it back, however in my defense, its been mine since 2001!)

I stuck our trash can underneath it & made a burlap curtain to hang & cover it! Umm...yes that's a training potty, Helee would rather use it as a step stool!
Last night I stenciled a "B" on it just to make it not so blah!
YEA!!! No more ugly hole!!!!!
