Remember all the pictures I planned on taking this weekend???? Yea...didn't happen. So here are the few you get to see!
I have been working on Invites for our Nephew's 1st birthday party, so Friday night we took a few pictures...trying to get a perfect one for the invite. I do not know how photographers do it...even with 3 or 4 people behind me trying to get the boys attention, he undoubtedly would look at the one person off to the side! I think this one still turned out good though! I enjoy making invites....Maybe one day I will make a post of some of the one's I've done. I saw this idea somewhere online, and thanks to photoshop (the best computer program EVER invented) I was able to recreate it!
So this is the "draft"...but pretty close to being the finished invitation:
***EDIT: This is a DRAFT, Not your Invitation, so dates/times & Location are NOT correct (hence the word DRAFT)***

Tanner went to rope Friday night, so it was just me & the boys! We stayed at Tanner's parents alittle bit after taking Rance's pictures & then went home & called it an early night.
This weekend was Tax Free Weekend in Texas...So I had Tanner take me shopping Saturday...in New Mexico!! I don't do crowds & the $20 I spent in Tax was well worth not fighting the crowds! We went to my new favorite store, Cotton Castle, that I found on Facebook of all places! They had a great sale & I was very happy with my purchases!
The boys did great while we were in Hobbs...Saturday Night our friends had their Annual Liver Fest...I was talking to Vicki who normal hosts it & she thought this was the 18th year (that sounds like alot but I think that is what she said!...It is well over the 10th year) to have it. Its a fun night of eating liver (YUCK!)...I ate Chicken Fry..but Tanner said the Liver was Great! I think I dissected too many animals in college & high school, there is just no way I could eat Liver! This was a very calm Liver Fest...it was fun though. We wound up the night at our Friends parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party.
The thing I enjoyed the MOST about the weekend...was sleeping in until I wanted to get up on Sunday (which was only 9:30 but it was still my choice!) The boys stayed with Tanner's parents Saturday night. It was the first night for me to be away from Cross & Helee hasn't stayed anywhere but with us since Cross was born. The boys both did great though & slept well for Tanner's parents...unlike this morning....Helee decide to wake up at 4am!!!! & Cross was up at 3:30 & 6...we will have to have a talk with them this evening!!
I took this picture with my phone on Saturday morning...It makes me laugh. I think that the flash must have been alittle bright for Cross!!
Oh how I love these Blue Eyed Boys!!!
