Sorry, I've been missing! I've started a couple posts last week, but never could find any words to type to go along with them! I will get around to posting them soon...I've just been in a blogging slump, I guess!
So here are a few randoms....
My hubster took my not so subtle hints and got me a new lens for my birthday!!! Not only was I surprised, but he actually upgraded from the one I wanted!! Woohoo!
Helee & Tanner had to run to Lubbock to the cow sale and they went and picked it up. (Thank you to the Farmer's Wife for giving Tanner a clue as to what lens to get me!!) When I got in the truck with them after work, Helee was grinning really big & said,
"Mom, Do not look in the console"
Not "Hello"....Not "I love you mom"....Poor thing was so excited to give me my birthday present! Its taken alittle bit to get used to, but I love it!!!

Another Random note....
We park under a carport at work...which is between 2 buildings. Last Thursday, I walked out the back door to my car & ran into THIS!!!!!
It scared the crap out of me! & I'm sad to say, I said a bad word!! Isn't that random?! I saw it again on Friday, but from the safety of my desk! I guess it lives at a house (that's vacant right now) catecorner from my office.

OK...on to this weekend!
Its HOT here! Extremely HOT! Last weekend we spent my pre-birthday weekend in the mountains. Its still hot there, but not anywhere close to the heat that is here! Saturday, we ran to Lubbock and on the way home the highest temperature we saw was 114 degrees! YUCK!
At 7pm last night, the truck temp said 110! We spent yesterday trying to beat the heat. Of course, my boys being boys.....found the mud!
And with Helee's help, Cross got covered in Mud right along with his brother!
But they had fun! Until we had to get the COLD water hose out to wash them off! Cross wasn't too found of that!
It was a great weekend! Full of Sun & Fun!

Random thoughts? Your Momma has been known to have those. Boys & mud go together. Noticed Helee's attire and that Cross Haven has some molars getting close. Better get some teething tablets for him and Calming nerve pills for YOU!
