Mim & Pop, aka Tanner's Parents, put the trampoline up at there house this week. I was excited because it actually kept Cross entertained for longer than 5 minutes!!
We played for awhile last night....I taught Helee how to play "Break the Egg" which Tanner quickly informed me was actually "Crack the Egg"! Its amazing how different things are in West TX vs East TX! Here are a few things that I have learned during my time in West TX...
1. When you want the Air Conditioner to be colder, You say "Turn the air up" To me, that makes NO sense...don't you actually want to "Turn the air down" to get it colder? & in the winter its opposite too!
2. Its Dinner at Lunch time. Dinner is NOT eaten after work or in the evening...Dinner is eaten at Noon! I have been corrected on that several times. In fact, our small town has a dinner bell that goes off EVERY day at Noon...12 o'clock sharp. Its the Tornado siren that goes off. LOUDLY! Just call me at noon one work day, its across the street from my office, I will let ya hear it! I just pray that a Tornado doesn't make its way thru our town, actually ever!, but especially at Noon! We would all leave our house to go to Dairy Queen instead of being in a bathroom or closet!
OK...I digressed alittle bit! Back to the Trampoline!
I posted this picture just to actually show y'all the MONSTER Molars that we are trying to break thru! 2 of them have peaked thru but we sure are still fighting them!!
The boys started their wrestling pretty quickly on the mat...I blame Tanner for teaching them this! They wrestle every night before bed. I am trying to get the boys settled & Tanner's throwing them down on the bed and Helee's yelling "You want a piece of me!?"
Every once in awhile Cross comes out on top! He's the best hair puller & pincher in the house!
But He-man puts on his blue & white striped cape & comes out victorious at other times!
& then Daddy jumps in & everyone loses!
It's Friday! WOOHOO! I have been exhausted this week. No clue why, just can not get caught up on my rest! I am looking forward to a weekend of NOTHING!
Hopefully I get to actually do that!
