Friday after work, we went to check the cows & it turned into a gathering...Its nice to just sit & hang out sometimes. No one has to worry about being the "hostess" or worry if every one's having a good time. We are in the middle of a pasture...& the kids are entertained...that makes for a great night for me!
I don't know if you remember this post from last year, but it looks like it could be another summer in the muddy ponds! The Saxon's were headed to get some feed and detoured to the cows, so Tanner decided to fill their feed barrels with water for the kids...
I thought it kind of turned out to be a redneck hot tub!! Katie didn't want me to take her picture...Sorry Katie, I did! ;-)
The older girls didn't really want to get into the muddy water, but Justin & Tanner made sure they did! At one point, Justin picked up Katie to throw her in & she landed face first in the mud...YUCK!! She is such a tough one!
Even the babies (except for Cross) got in on the mud action! They loved it!! We are going to have such good ammo against them when they get older. We all thought these naked mud pics would be great on their Senior Slideshow! It's funny to think that all of the babies right now..will be in the same grade. Even Cross will be graduating with Kreed, Rance & Tucker...they are going to be a handful!!
They had alot of fun...the did NOT like being rinsed off in the cold well water though. It was horrible!! So we will just remember moments like this picture, when they were SQUEALING because of the fun they were having!!
This is Tucker...They didn't make it out on Friday afternoon, but came out on Thursday night. His dad was helping Tanner & Justin in alittle adventure, but that story is a blog post in itself!...Anyway, I thought I would throw this picture in of him...he was bear-crawling everywhere! He would go right to the water's edge & put his hands in...I just knew he was going in head first, but his dad was close by!
Cross didn't join in on the mud fun, but he had his naked day at the house on Saturday afternoon...

Cross changes every photo. He doesn't even look like the same baby! I am so thankful you have such good friends to hang with!
But, i am going to look for a swimsuit that He-man will love! think is's possible?
