We've been Waiting on (b)Lane.....

Blane came this weekend!!!

Helee gets SOOOOO excited when Blane comes to town.  We honestly try not to tell him that he's coming because he will want him here right then...he doesn't understand having to wait a few days!



Friday we waited for Blane to get to town...Saturday we waited for Blane to wake up so Helee could play with him...& Sunday we waited on Blane to come to Mim & Pop's....

(Any guess on were I got the title for the post????)

So pretty much our weekend was with Blane boy!! We did run to Hobbs yesterday to get groceries...but only after Blane had left...Helee HAS to get his time in with Blane!!!

Also this weekend, Cross turned SIX months old!!!!! Wow...time has really flown by! He stayed with Mim while we went Dove hunting Saturday night.  So no hunting pictures of him!

Helee has been wanting to shoot his BB gun for DAYS! We told him that Blane wanted to go Dove hunting early Saturday, & by that afternoon we heard this....

"Can I shoot my gun now? I want to shoot my gun. Can I shoot my gun now? I want to shoot my gun."

500 TIMES!! Even when we got out to the pasture...he still said it!!

Finally he got to shoot his gun.

Then we had to have a quick gun safety course about not looking at the end of a gun!

The cows sure got away from us fast!!

So, Stephanie (my s-n-l) was wanting to shoot too. She made me laugh with her Ear plugs...she had to get them set just right before she'd shoot! but she also had to take them out after every shot because she couldn't hear a thing!! I finally said "Don't worry Steph, those birds will just stop & let ya get your plugs in!" 

 I guess she & Kipp had a conversation about how this gun wouldn't kick or anything, cause right after I took this picture she looked at Kipp & said "You're a liar"

Oh...& this was my 200th post!! If I was a really cool blogger..I'd have a give away! but I'm not that cool!
